Helsinki/Turku/Lahti/Jyväskylä about two hours by car, Hämeenlinna/Tampere half an hour by car. Nearest municipal centers 10 km away: Valkeakoski, Toijala, Viiala, Lempäälä, Kylmäkoski. Easy to arrive from the motorway exit no. 33. The nearest train station in Toijala, bus Toijala/Valkeakoski - From Valkeakoski you can get to Ilola with Nysse no. 66 or 69 and from Akaa (Toijala/Viiala) you can get to Ilola with Nysse no. 69.
You can also easily reach us by bike from almost any direction: the light traffic route runs right next to it, and you can also reach us from e.g. Lempäälä or Valkeakoski via gravel roads.
Guest room

All in all, accommodation for 13 people can be found at the guest house.

There are two rooms for 2 people on the ground floor of the guest house.
- The first room on the ground floor has a kitchenette.
- In the second room, a crib and a cot are ready.
Shared shower and toilet for downstairs rooms. There is also a television and a microwave in the lobby of the rooms.

There are two 2-person rooms and one 3-person room on the upper floor of the guest house.
- Extra beds available in the rooms.

Old Station
At Wanha Asema, you can find accommodation for up to 8-12 people.

Upstairs, a total of four accommodation rooms, some of which also have the option of an extra bed. You can book:
- One double room
- Two 3-bed rooms
- One room for 4 people

In the large lobby on the upper floor, there is a group of sofas, a TV and a kitchenette for the use of the guests. (Fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker, kettle, microwave oven, hot plate.)
Shared shower and toilet for those staying at Wanhalla station. There are more toilets downstairs. It is about 100 m from Wanha Asema to the sauna/Guesthouse building.

On the ground floor of Vanha Asema, there are also restaurant premises and a convenience store.
Next to the old station runs the Toijala-Valkeakoski railway, with occasional train traffic (goods).
Old Main building

Pikkutupa cabin and Red House room
Next to the Old Station, Pikkutupa is a cabin suitable for 1–2 people for summer-season accommodation. No heating, but it has electricity. Shower in the sauna building 100 m away; nearest toilet at the Old Station.

The Red House End Room features a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, toilet, and kitchenette. Shower in the sauna building 100 m away.
Lakeside Sauna Cabin
The sauna cabin is a separate building by the lake, next to the large cottage. It has a sauna (for 4–5 people), a basic living room, and a hot water cauldron. Sleeping places for 2 people. Outdoor toilet.
80 m2 Lakeside cottage and Sauna Cabin
Sauna Cabin for 2 people: sauna and washing area (hot water cauldron), living room for 2 people, outdoor toilet. Private entrance and parking space in the yard of the large cottage.
Large Cottage – SUMMER 2025 FULLY BOOKED!
80 m² electrified cottage with toilet and shower. Separate sauna building. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, a living room (fireplace, air-source heat pump, TV), and a kitchen. In addition to the indoor space, there is a large, partly covered terrace. A rowboat is also available for cottage guests at the lakeshore.
Basic equipment for 6 people. Drinking water can be brought to the cottage in a canister from the main farm. Washing water from the lake (Lake Vanajavesi — not clear water, clay bottom).
The cottage is available for rent during the summer season from early May to mid-October. Not suitable for winter use.
Tent and Caravan Sites -Yard Camping
The Ilola Farm area also offers space for tent and caravan/motorhome accommodation.
Tent site: €27/night (includes 2–4 people)
Caravan/motorhome site: €35/night (includes a family of 2–4 people)
Electricity separately: €8/night or €0.50/kWh
Additional persons for both tent and caravan/motorhome accommodation: €5/adult, €3/child (ages 3–12)
Family sauna sessions and other extra services available, e.g., a grill hut. On the yard area: farm animals, riding school.
Pietola Manor House is available for accommodation only during the season, when no other events are taking place there.
Venue rental for parties and events from €300/day; in summer, barn rental from an additional €50.
